I’m Malcolm Bastien, a university student in Toronto, Canada, where I study IT Management, and keep up to date with all the blogging, digital marketing, business, and open source news that I can. I’m an open source enthusiast, and have been a Linux user for several years. Currently, one of my long term goals includes developing an expertise in web analytics.
As a dedicated open source guy, I run Ubuntu as my operating system, and usually Gnome is my desktop environment of choice. I have a lot of other favorite applications that I run, and some that I’ve donated to. I think that using open source software delivers the best computer experience, and that it lowers the barriers to entry to many different aspects of technology.
